The Legend of the Sword is as old as time itself, said to have been constructed by the First Arch Mage of the Nine from the wood of the last Birchwood Tree and sacred blue metal that fell from the sky. It's power knows little limits, used by numerous heros to slay greats beasts, monsters and great villains alike. The sword is able to cut through any metal as easily as a warm knife through butter. It was last weilded in the Second Age by the leader of the Wardens to slay the Demon Lord Maggot. However it was during that great battle that the Sword was lost. When the Wardens Grand Master was slayn it is thought a Goblin or Dark Orc may have taken the blade off of him and with them as they retreated. Therfore The blade itself could be located in any number of caves or hideaways.
The sword before coming into the hands of the Wardens was used as a symbol of leadership and unity by the Emperors and Kings of Lysandria. It was only after the loss of thw Sword did the royal dynasty begin it's slow decent into becoming nothing more than a national symbol in the Third Age.
The Blade itself apears as any other with little to distinguish it from any other sword. It is double edged and it's blade measures at 3.5ft in length. The blade is said to feel weightless and it swings very well for its size and power.
